Maria Norton leads Plessey’s strategic technology programmes, driving delivery of advanced semiconductor and optical technologies for global customers. As Director of Programmes, she oversees complex development portfolios, ensuring alignment between business priorities, customer commitments and operational execution.

With over 15 years’ experience in technology and more than a decade in semiconductors, Maria has a strong track record of leading high-value development programmes from concept through to delivery. She has played a key role in advancing Plessey’s microLED technology roadmap and strengthening programme governance across the business.

Maria is a Chartered Project Professional, a member of the Association for Project Management, and holds a BSc in Business Studies together with postgraduate leadership qualifications.
