Andy Horsfield leads the development and delivery of Plessey’s technologies and products as Chief Engineering Officer, driving innovation into deployable solutions and executing against the technology roadmap.

He brings over 25 years of experience delivering advanced technology programmes across electronics, opto-electrical systems, radio frequency, embedded software, data science, test solutions and manufacturing.

Previously, Andy led key programme activities at WaveOptics, contributing to the company’s acquisition by Snap Inc. He later served as a technical leader at Snap’s UK site, leading global teams in the development of hardware, optical and backplane solutions for augmented reality products.

Andy holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
